Short Bio

Massage therapy has been an outstanding way to learn about and understand the human body. Springboarding off the talent of my hands, I’m working on connecting corrective/functional exercise into my practice. Still have a lot to learn in that department but its going to be a journey worth taking.

my school - The Academy of Massage Therapy and Bodywork http://massage-training.net/

Its exciting to be expanding and growing in my career, showing my son how to work hard and achieve his goals.

My Technique

I’ll utilize anything effective that I come across, but The main style of bodywork I like to draw from is called Myofascial Release, or MFR for short. to describe it briefly; whether it be an elbow in your glutes or a pull of an arm/leg; you feel/sink into the body,  find a barrier of resistance, and then stretch over a period of approx 5 mins while following the path of release from barrier to barrier. In regards to my pressure(Hand Strength), I have some strong paws while keeping the ability to be gentle and relaxing as well. Really depends what someone needs/wants. so on my scale of 1 being smooth and feathery 5 being forceful, I like to be at 3 firm yet compassionate.
